Boiling and near-boiling water taps – what's the difference?

A boiling water tap dispenses water at 100°C or near-boiling, 98°C. In daily use, there is no difference between 100°C and 98°C. Because boiling water tap usually works with a water filter, the water is direct drinking water, even if it is not heated, it can be directly drunk.

The benefits of heating instant boiling water tap to 98°C:

1: 98°C can meet all needs such as making tea, coffee, cleaning, etc., and it is more energy-efficient.

2: Even if heated to 100 °C, the actual water temperature of the tap will be lowered a little, and it is only near-boiling.

3: The instant boiling water tap is only heated to 98°C, the water does not boil violently, a large amount of hot steam will not be generated, and there will be no scalding.
