How to install an under-sink water heater?
1. Water And Electricity Preparation
(1) Waterway pre-installation:
The cold water pipe needs to be pre-installed before installation. Lay the water pipe for the under-sink water heater when decorating the kitchen is recommended. If the space in the cabinet under the sink is large enough, it should be the best pre-installed position for the water pipe.
(2) Circuit Preset
a. Under-sink water heater needs electricity to work, so the circuit needs to be laid in advance; if it is found that there is no power supply during installation, the water pipe will be installed in another place, the circuit will not be extended enough, and it will also affect the cleanliness and beauty of the kitchen.
b. There must be safe and reliable grounding;
c. It is recommended to use a dedicated socket for the under-sink water heater, preferably a 4 square national standard wire.
2. Prepare Materials:
Metal hose or PPR pipe, tee, union, angle valve and raw tape, etc.; the metal hose connecting the under-sink hot water tank must be able to withstand a pressure of 0.8MPa and a temperature of more than 100℃.
3. Installation Steps:
(1). Water heater location
The small water heater can be hung on the wall under the sink or placed directly under the sink.
If you want to hang it up, determine the installation position of the instant water heater, set the size of the attachment hanger fixing hole, drill two 10*60mm horizontal holes at the appropriate position of the load-bearing wall, insert the plastic expansion tube into the hole, and use a suitable wrench to lock the hanger with the fastening screws. Hang the boiling water tank wall hanging hole on the hanger, and after confirming that the water tank has been hung firmly, the hot water tank should be in a horizontal position;
(2) Pipeline connection:
a. Connect the safety relief valve, drainage hose, tap water inlet pipe, outlet pipe, etc. to the instant water heater, wrap the joints with sealing tape to ensure sealing, and check for water leakage.
b. Install the safety valve on the water inlet interface, the arrow pointing to the same direction as the water heater water flow, and the safety valve water inlet needs to be installed with a mesh sealing gasket; Under normal circumstances, when the water pressure exceeds 0.75MPa, the safety valve will release pressure;
(3) Preparation for debugging:
a. After installation, open the angle valve, turn on the faucet to the hot water side, and wait until the hot water side is flowing normally, indicating that the water tank of the boiling water heater is full of water, then you can plug in the power supply.
b. Use a test pen to check whether there is leakage;
c. Turn on the water heater to see if the indicator light is normal and whether the hot water is flowing normally;
d. Adjust the temperature of the water heater to see if it is reasonable;
