5. Installation Guide

Step-by-step installation instructions with diagrams (plumbing connection, CO₂ cylinder setup, power supply).

Electrical Requirements

  • Power Outlet: The outlet must support at least 15A, dedicated to this product, using a UK/CCC socket with a grounding wire. If the outlet lacks a grounding hole, ensure an external grounding wire is provided.

  • Circuit Recommendations: It is recommended to provide a dedicated circuit for the hot water unit or use a socket that can be controlled by a switch.

  • Power Cord: This hot water unit comes with a power cord equipped with a plug. To minimize the risk of electric shock, the power cord must be plugged into a standard grounded socket and grounded according to all national and local regulations. If an appropriate socket is not available, a qualified electrician must install one.

• Damaged Cord: If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, service agent, or a qualified professional to avoid hazards.

Water Supply Requirements

  • Connection Method: If local regulations permit, the faucet water supply line should connect to hot and chilled/sparkling water supplies via an isolation valve or other means.

  • Special Note: If the use of an isolation valve is not allowed by law, please purchase suitable water supply valves from a local dealer.

  • Impurities Impact: If impurities, foreign objects, or sand mix with the water, it may cause clogging in the hot water unit and faucet pipes, affecting performance.

Environmental Requirements

  • Installation Location: Do not install outdoors or in areas where the temperature may drop below 0°C to avoid freezing of pipes, faucets, and heating tanks, which could pose safety risks and cause damage.

  • Cleaning Method: Direct washing of the hot water unit with water is prohibited.

  • Ventilation: The installation environment should be well-ventilated, avoiding direct sunlight. Maintain a distance of 10-15 cm between the hot water unit and wall for proper heat dissipation.

  • To ensure optimal air circulation around the chilled/sparkling water machine, please maintain approximately 20 cm of free space on all sides. Additionally, it's important to install special ventilation grills to effectively dissipate heat generated by the refrigeration circuit. If ventilation grills are not available, please leave the cabinet door open to promote proper airflow.

Faucet Information

  • Connection Standards: Connecting an incompatible faucet may result in injury, damage to the hot water unit, and void the warranty.
  • Safety Structure: Due to high water temperatures, the hot water unit is designed as a pressure-free open structure to ensure safety.

Temperature Adjustment

• Optimal Performance: The settings have been optimized for temperatures above 95°C based on common installations. However, factors such as inlet water temperature, atmospheric pressure, and altitude may affect performance.
• Adjustment Recommendations: If spraying occurs during heating, consider lowering the temperature setting by 1-2°C to compensate.
• Consultation Advice: For any questions, please consult your dealer for further guidance.

6. Step-by-step installation instructions

Step 1: Placement of Hot and Chilled Water Dispenser

  • Ensure the hot and chilled water dispenser is not connected to the power supply during installation.
  • Place the hot and chilled water dispenser in position, checking that the faucet connection pipe and power cord can reach without being pulled.
  • Ensure that the position of the hot and chilled water dispenser does not twist or kink the inlet and outlet pipes.
  • The distance between the hot water dispenser and the wall should be maintained at 10-15 cm. The installation environment should be well-ventilated and avoid direct sunlight to facilitate heat dissipation.
  • To ensure optimal air circulation around the chilled water dispenser, maintain a space of about 20 cm on all sides. Additionally, the cabinet should be equipped with dedicated ventilation grilles to effectively dissipate heat generated by the cooling circuit. If there are no ventilation grilles, keep the cabinet doors open to promote air circulation.

Step 2: Connecting the Faucet

  • Pure water is connected to both the hot water machine and the ice water machine via a three-way connector and a quick connector. The hot water outlet of the hot water machine is connected to the faucet using a two-second quick connector. The ice water machine cools the pure water to produce ice water, while an external carbon dioxide pressure regulator is connected to a carbon dioxide cylinder to generate carbon dioxide gas. This gas returns to the ice water machine through a two-second quick connector.
  • The ice water from the ice water machine is fully mixed with carbon dioxide, and finally, the carbonated water produced from the mixture of ice water and carbon dioxide is connected to the faucet via a hose from the hot water machine.
  • Check the connection types and sizes of the faucet's inlet and outlet.
  • Insert the appropriate water pipe into the purified water outlet and the hot and chilled water outlet connectors, securing with clips.
  • Connect the purified water and hot water inlet hoses to the faucet and water purifier as usual.
  • Connect the purified water, hot water, and chilled water inlet hoses to the faucet and purifier in the usual manner. If the inlet water pressure exceeds 5 bar, a pressure-reducing valve must be installed at the purified water inlet and outlet.

Step 3: Starting and Checking for Leaks

  • A leak test must be performed before plugging into the power outlet to ensure no leaks are present.
  • Push the hot water button on the faucet to let purified water flow into the heater's tank.
  • Push the chilled water button on the faucet to let purified water flow into the chilled water tank.
  • The first time the user operates it, the entire refill process takes about 60 seconds. When the hot and chilled water dispenser is full, water will flow from the faucet outlet.
  • Close the hot water handle and check that all connections are sealed properly to ensure there are no leaks.
  • All connections that could cause leaks must be securely tightened, and a leak test should be conducted again before connecting to the power outlet.

Step 4: Electrical Connection

  • Ensure the installation area is dry and free from water spills.
  • Connect the plug to the power outlet and then turn on the power switch.
  • Press and hold the on/off button; the water heater's display panel will light up.

Step 5: Installation Completion

  • Important: Install the faucet hot and chilled water dispenser according to the provided installation instructions, adhering to all local regulations and laws.
  • The hot and chilled water dispenser must be installed vertically and correctly. Choose a suitable location, preferably directly below or near the faucet, to ensure smooth connections.
  • Since hot and chilled water are non-pressurized, there may be a slight delay when opening the faucet, which is normal and indicates that the hot and chilled water dispensers are functioning properly.
  • It is recommended to use a separate power circuit specifically for your hot and chilled water dispenser. For more information on "Electrical Requirements," please refer to the previous pages.
  • Chilled / Sparkling Water Dispenser - After powering on the dispenser, ensure the compressor is running. Within 15 minutes, you should notice a significant drop in the water temperature inside the machine.
  • The normal operating temperature range is as follows: The compressor will automatically shut down when the water temperature reaches 4°C. The compressor will turn back on when the temperature rises to 7°C.
