What is a 4 Stage Water Filter?
4-stage water filter refers to a water purification system with four filter cartridges. People choose four different filter cartridges according to the different water quality they are dealing with and combine them into a 4-stage water filter system.
In areas with normal water quality, the four-stage filter element is generally configured as follows:
Primary filtration
Primary filtration Water purifiers on the market now generally use 5μm PP cotton as the filter material, which is used to remove large particles of impurities such as rust, sand, suspended matter, and coarse filtration. It is usually replaced every 3-6 months.
Secondary filtration

1. PP cotton filter element

PP cotton filter element is made of ultrafine polypropylene fiber hot-melt entanglement. The materials used to prepare PP cotton filter elements are all non-toxic and odorless PP materials. The raw material source is reliable and safe. Because there is no adhesive medium, no soluble materials appear during application.

2. Activated carbon filter element

It can effectively remove organic matter, residual chlorine and other radioactive substances in water, and has the effect of decolorization and removal of odor. Activated carbon filter elements are divided into compressed activated carbon and granular activated carbon:
1. Compressed activated carbon filter elements use coal-based activated carbon and coconut shell activated carbon with high adsorption value as filter materials, and are sintered and compressed with food-grade adhesives. The inside and outside of the compressed activated carbon filter element are wrapped with a layer of non-woven fabric with filtering function to ensure that the carbon core itself will not drop carbon powder. Soft nitrile rubber sealing pads are installed at both ends of the carbon core, so that the carbon core has good sealing when installed in the filter cartridge.
2.
